Trained in France by Christelle François (Sangs Mêlés) and then at the Yantra Academy, she joined the Nyangazam Company in November 2013 through the workshop on research and creation in dance and contemporary artistic expressions in Africa and the project "These women who dance".

Trained in Afro-Cuban, contemporary and African dance, Vanessa has been dancing for the Nyanga Zam company since 2008.

She danced in "Temps Véritable", "A la croisée de nos vies", "Ma part de l'autre" and "Constellation", the latter being performed in Brussels and Burkina Faso as part of the Dialogue de Corps festival (2013)

She currently teaches Pilates and contemporary acrobatic dance in Brussels and Cape Verde.
