ZAM EBALE
DANCER - SINGER
Dancer, choreographer, writer, singer-songwriter with a captivating voice, ZAM offers a unique show combining Afro-soul-rumba music and Afro-contemporary dance.
Originally from Cameroon, he has always had dance and singing in his heart.
At the age of 5, her grandmother introduced her to traditional arts while her mother passed on her musical sense.
At the age of 14, ZAM tasted the Cameroonian scene and it was Kembe Pesok who introduced him to Afro-Soul-pop and hip-hop singing.
When he arrived in Belgium, he worked on his voice with soprano Amarillys Grégoire and it was at the Pianofabriek that Paul Van Den Berghe discovered the extent of his vocal register.
Since then he has recorded a first album MA KE and has performed in dance and music while preparing his second album.
ZAM's texts are inspired by the traditional teachings of the Bulu-Fang in southern Cameroon and the teachings of his Buddhist master.
Daisaku Ikeda.
His message is intended to be a message of peace and hope:
"Every man has a mission that often involves challenges.
Thanks to solidarity based on respect for differences, everyone can overcome these challenges with courage by inspiring and giving hope to humanity.
